On April 14, 2026, the FTC announced a complaint and stipulated final order against Forever Living Products International, Forever Living.com, and officers Gregg Maughan and Aidan O'Hare over alleged deceptive earnings claims used to recruit Forever Business Owners. The agency alleged that in each of the last five years at least 77% of FBOs who purchased, sold, or recruited that year received no compensation, and that more than 89% of new participants after two years had not recouped a $300+ start-up cost. The proposed order requires substantiation for earnings claims, bars misrepresentations about likely earnings or why participants fail, and restricts misleading downline-income pitches.

For party-plan brands: talk about typical results, include costs in your disclosures, and keep field training in line with your income disclosure. The FTC keeps going after lifestyle posts and big-check photos.
