How we pick and update markets
We publish a page only when WFDSA reports a full row for the country: sales, representatives, growth, product mix, and gender. China and Japan rank in the global top 10 but are missing parts of that row in the 2024 data, so they are not here yet. Pages are refreshed once a year after WFDSA's release, and a page that falls two releases behind is taken out of search until it is updated.
Global context: in 2024, direct selling retail sales were about $163.9 billion worldwide, essentially flat, per the WFDSA Global Statistics page. Our note on the 2024 WFDSA report has the rest of the global picture.

Note on this data
Figures are as published by WFDSA and may be restated in later releases. WFDSA converts local currency to constant US dollars for the data year. These pages are general information about markets. They are not financial, legal, or business advice and do not describe what any person will earn. Starting or joining a direct selling business carries risk, and results vary.
